Beauceron Standard. Red stocking is a dog of harmonious proportions strong with short coat. Unexaggerated powerful muscular build without heaviness.
Beaucerons were used to move herds of 200 to 300 head traveling up to 50. The Berger de Beauce or Beauceron was originally used for hunting wild boar but turned to herding and livestock guarding. Beauceron Breed Standard Review has 1150 members.
